The company achieved a return on equity of 21% over the last 12 months, despite facing a demanding U.S. housing market influenced by weaker consumer confidence and affordability issues. PulteGroup’s diverse operational model across 47 major markets and various buyer segments, including first-time, move-up, and active adult, remains a strategic edge. However, current market conditions have affected first-time buyer demand, down 14% from the previous year.
